An easy and flavourful dish that's delicious served hot or cold with grilled pork tenderloin or shrimp.

Ingredients
  • 16 oz black rice noodles
  • 6 Tbsp David's organic extra virgin olive oil
  • 6 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 6 Tbsp organic cane sugar
  • 6 Tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • 6 Tbsp lite soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tsp sambal oelek
  • 6 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds, toasted
Instructions
  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Turn the heat off, add the rice noodles, and let soak for five minutes or until the noodles are soft. Drain.
  2. Heat the extra virgin olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat. When hot, add the garlic and cook for a few minutes. Add the sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, samba oelek, and heat to dissolve the sugar.
  3. Toss the noodles with the sauce and serve garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
